Magic Wheels Motorcycle Club was formed in 1979 and organized by 10 members: Daniel “Big Block” Allen, Melvin Garris, Eddie Garris, Wayne Garris, Donald Garris, Robert Hardy, Charlie Robinson, Harvey Smith, Ben Waller, and A.W. Tillar. This group of members transformed into a loyal brotherhood of bikers. The plan was to meet on a monthly basis to discuss traveling places to various localities including Virginia, District of Columbia, and North Carolina. As a result of the club meetings, Magic Wheels quickly recognized the need for community involvement throughout Emporia and Skippers, Virginia.
Magic Wheels respectfully sponsor many indoor and outdoor activities to raise funds to donate to various community organizations. In 2004, a food drive (Nicknamed: “Meals-on-the-Wheels”) was implemented to provide less fortunate families with Thanksgiving dinner, this drive will continue in years to come. Magic Wheels firmly believes that their values will create a positive attitude to bring together bikers and the community. Today, the Magic Wheels are committed to spreading their vision and ideals to the new generation of bikers. Magic Wheels will continue to respect and communicate with other bikers and share the great love to travel the roadways. As a family club, Magic Wheels always promote family fun, safety and club unity. The mission of the Magic Wheels Motorcycle Club is to maintain a safe and prosperous environment for all citizens of their community.
